Perfect for today’s on-the-go world, everyone from busy executives to students can conveniently access their written notes and recorded audio directly from paper, as well as on all the tablets, smartphones and computers they use. Starting Tuesday, April 23, reservations for the product will be started at SOURCENEXT’s online stores (Retail Price: Open price).

[What is the “Livescribe wifi smartpen”?]
With the “Livescribe wifi smartpen” people don’t have to choose between writing on paper and writing on a tablet –they can have the best of both worlds. It is an ideal companion to an iPad or Android tablet. Together they offer the ease, flexibility and precision of writing on paper with the benefits of saving, searching, replaying and sharing on a tablet.

The “Livescribe wifi smartpen” captures everything consumers write and hear. To playback the audio, they simply tap their handwritten notes with their smartpen and the audio will replay from that exact moment in time. Consumers can also playback the audio from their computer, tablet and smartphone using Evernote. The “Livescribe 2GB wifi smartpen” stores around 200 hours of audio and approximately 20,000 pages of written notes.

Livescribe smartpens have received many awards, including the 2012 “Editor’s Choice Award” from Laptop Magazine (USA), along with many more prestigious awards and accolades.

[Works with Evernote]
Any content created and captured with the “Livescribe wifi smartpen” wirelessly syncs to Evernote as a new searchable and shareable note. Once in Evernote, customers can easily play back their handwritten notes and synchronized audio, called “pencasts,” through the web-based Livescribe Player. Customers can start at the beginning of a “pencast,” or jump directly to a specific point in time just by clicking on a specific word or portion of a drawing.

A Powerful Tool in Various Scenarios
In addition to reviewing “pencasts” on their computers and mobile devices, consumers can also:
– Search their Livescribe handwritten notes using Evernote’s OCR feature as well as the tags, title and keyword features in Evernote;
– Share individual notes, including “pencasts” publically or privately with colleagues and peers via link, email, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. Entire notebooks can also be shared for easy collaboration;
– Organize their notes and “pencasts” alongside other related content including documents, presentations, photos, videos and web pages

Comes with a 500 MB Additional Upload Quota for “Evernote”
The “Livescribe wifi smartpen” works with both Evernote (free) and Evernote Premium and can be linked to new or existing Evernote accounts. The “Livescribe wifi smartpen” includes an additional 500MB of monthly upload capacity (up to 70 hours of recording time) for content created with the smartpen.
